"Uncle Tom's Hunting Cabin" – hearty evenings in our hunting cabin

Life is still a question of quality here. Isn't it pure joy after a lovely active day to bite into fresh farmhouse bread with smoked ham? It's not without reason that stressed townspeople are mostly overcome by the longing for a holiday in the mountains, because untouched nature has become something of a rare luxury. Essentials still play an essential role in the Bavarian Forest, and it does you good to become one with the land and its inhabitants.

A hearty evening awaits you in our hunting cabin "Uncle Tom's Cabin". Our rustically furnished hunting cabin is situated above our hotel on the edge of the forest, directly adjacent to the red deer enclosure, where deer can be seen roaming.

Once a week the hotel manager undertakes a torchlight hike with you to this quaint cabin.

Spend a Bavarian evening there.

While deer roam around the cabin, listen to all sorts of interesting stories and anecdotes from the Bavarian Forest whilst warming yourself by the stove with a small welcoming glass of schnapps.

The sun is shining, birds are singing and in the background you can hear the soothing splashing of a waterfall. And all of that directly in the hotel's own bathing garden with waterfall. A harmonious composition of soothing greenery, azure-blue water and the right ambient sounds invites you to dream, turn off and relax. Here in the Bavarian Forest you can replenish your energy reserves while sunbathing in our 450 sq. metre bathing garden.
